For this year I'm asking people to fill in the form, print it, and mail it to us. I know this is very old fashioned but next year I'll work on signing up online. The fee will be $170 for the two days. You can register the first day of the workshop as long as you call me (508-829-7641) to let me know your coming and what level you want to be grouped with. I dont really believe in "levels", its just away to find what team you will go into. Lunch will be included both days. If you have any special requirements for food let me know. Levels- I want to make sure that everyone is comfortable and gets alot out of the workshop. I wish to separate players into three levels. Level A will be the greenest and level C will be the most experienced. If you sign up for the wrong level it will not be a big issue. Take your best shot.

Group A: Novice jazz player. Should be interested in jazz. Being a good reader is not crucial. Being able to recognize notes on a staff is however important. This would be a good place for a blues guitarist.

Group B: Knows some real book tunes. Can get by reading. Has good working knowledge of basic diatonic scales. Has played jazz tunes at least occasionally with others.

Group C: This is the most advanced group, the player in this group has fundamental grasp on comping and soloing. The group C student should have played with a group at school or at a jam.
